Energy as a Service (EaaS)
Reliable power. Peace of mind.
A versatile system to match your needs
Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) provides behind-the-meter electricity capacity for a resilient and sustainable network, along with value-added services such as remote monitoring, time-of-use (TOU) scheduling, and participation in demand-response programs.
How our EaaS works
Normal Operation
During normal operating circumstances, both the BESS and the network asset receive power from the grid.
Outage & Time of Use (TOU)
During a power outage (no power from grid) or in a TOU situation (utility cost varies by time), the network asset receives power from the BESS.
Grid Sellback
In a grid sellback program, the surplus energy stored in the BESS can be sold back to the power company for a profit.
Extended Outage
During an extended power outage, the BESS can work in a hybrid state with a portable diesel generator to provide long-lasting, lower-maintenance power to the network asset.
Seamless power management
Where can your microgrids be used?
We’re equipped to serve many applications including:
- Street furniture
- Data towers
- Toll booths
- Public elevators
- Small-space retail
What if my needs change?
Our microgrids are the most versatile in the market. You can scale up to meet increasing energy needs or scale down with reduced usage.
Who pays the initial capital costs?
Aither Systems is private-equity funded, which means that you do not pay the initial investment for the equipment. Your only cost are the month service fees.
Does my staff have to manage this technology?
No. Aither Systems’ experts will manage your energy system, prioritizing for your specific needs.
